Project: "Aquí Cabemos Todos"

December 2008 "Calvario" church. After last summer the "Jovenes del barrio San Jose" (teenagers from the neighbourhood San Jose) were offered a program with the theme; "The 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit".

This time the spiritual fruit "Joy" was to be teached. A practical form of joy in the Bible was found in Acts 16 where Paul and Silas in the inner prison, in the middle of the night with their feet in the blocks and their backs are still open by the flogging, sang praises to God. God liberated them from prison through a severe earthquake...

The younger group (4-11 years) made 2 weeks previously a model prison as craft which they too home after wards. The older group (12-16 years) the "Machos" (cool) had to construct a huge prison from some 160 card board boxes and decorating it accordingly. The story was then played by them in a sketch with the result that all of them were thrown in the jail. The earthquake was ultimately caused by the youth of the church, and you can feel it already, they shook the walls (boxes) until they all tumbled on top of the guys so that they were all buried under a bunch of boxes.

After clearance they watched a relevant Christian film with popcorn and a drink. Then there was a short conclusion about the theme and they had an other snack (merienda) for which they also learn to give thanks to the Lord. There are still new youngsters added the group of which 12 got to know the Lord by now.
